The location is a bit off the beaten path, but it was exactly what we needed. The spot is lovely and quiet, with antique furniture kept in great condition. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were a touch lacking. The owner has a unique charm—like visiting a dear uncle, Antonio! The brown sheets, however, didn't win me over.

The value for money is excellent, and the location is great for driving to Viareggio, Lucca, and the surrounding area. The property and the room match the photos exactly: traditional, simple, comfortable, clean, and fully equipped. Surrounded by woods, vineyards, and olive groves, the house is naturally cool, but the air conditioning and fan in the room were much appreciated this season, as was the shaded parking under the house. Antonio is a wonderful host: friendly, helpful, and great company if you want to chat and enjoy the countryside.
