“We immediately cancelled our second nights stay. Health and safety danger!”
I stumbled into a half‑constructed hotel where only one floor of the original building was still usable, and it felt like a construction site with plastic sheeting everywhere; the safety standards were poor, and walking through the site to leave was unsettling—if I had been traveling alone, I would have been very worried. We checked in at 0130hrs, and the whole area seemed unsafe; in the morning someone broke into our room and only left when I yelled for them to go away, which was a very uncomfortable ordeal, and if we had known earlier or not been at 0130 with our luggage, we would have gone elsewhere.
The location was good, but the hotel was under renovation and we only found out after arriving.

I didn’t like anything about this hotel; the photos on the booking system were completely misleading, the room was a mess and breakfast was awful. The room was not comfortable at all, the bed was bad, and breakfast was really weak.

The location was great for exploring Tirana.

The rooms were nice and the staff were very good, but it was terrible to try to enter the hotel because there was no bell or light, and if you don’t have WhatsApp you can’t contact anyone to get in, so you had to wait in an unsafe environment in the middle of the night with kids.
