It was a good spot to break our long drive from The Midlands to South Cornwall, there was ample parking and it’s an easy walk into the town centre, but the breakfast and dinner were high quality yet severely understaffed, leading to long waits for every service; the rooms were very dated, the carpet smelled, and the whole place needs modernisation.

It’s close to the town centre, clean and pleasant, and the breakfast is good, but the beds were not very comfortable and an overpowering air freshener in the reception made it unpleasant to enjoy a drink.

It’s close to the town centre and the staff are friendly, but the rooms are very tired and the food is not nice at all.
