The place was quiet, but they barged into our room to clean at 11 am even though checkout wasn’t until 12 pm, and they didn’t even apologise.

The beds were comfortable but small. The staff were terrible—no one was available to help. The facilities were poorly maintained; for example, the bathroom light in our room kept going out. Towels were old, stiff, and rough on the skin. Breakfast was weak: a single Nespresso machine, a loaf of bread, a toaster, and a batch of industrial muffins. Next to the dining area the hotel’s kitchens and storerooms were left open and messy.

The staff were tolerant of pets and you could eat or dine at the bar downstairs. The bar, owned by the same person who runs the hostel until 4 am, was noisy and the rooms had no air conditioning, forcing us to open windows while the bar’s noise was excessive.

“Ok pour une nuit”

The exterior has a lot of charm, yet the noise from the street and the bar below, plus the echoing corridors with zero soundproofing, made it very loud, and the breakfast was disappointing.
