Owners and staff provide first‑class service, and the food was very good. Nothing to complain about.

The inn in Holesworthy is very nice, with a great location for exploring North Devon and Cornwall. The owners are very accommodating, the decor is nice and the place is very clean. The room had a double and a single bed, a bathroom, and tea/coffee making facilities, and I liked that there was an area to restock tea, coffee, towels, etc. The food and beer were great, and breakfast was really good (cereal, juices and full English). There’s a small car park, but it has a tight turn from the main road. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The only downside was some road noise in the bedroom, but the window was open and our room was at the inn front.

“A great and friendly pub,nothing to much trouble for anyone of the staff”

The breakfast offered excellent value for money, and the evening meal was excellent with a varied choice plus the chef’s special. Nothing to note otherwise.

“I will definitely stay here again, and again”

The staff were excellent, as was the food. Parking is limited but parking in the square was great and only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. I was made to feel welcome and well looked after. Thank you!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the place was really clean and good value for money. The bedroom windows were not soundproof at all; the road noise outside the window was ridiculous, like sleeping on the street.
