The front‑desk gentleman was lovely, and the location was perfect with lots of shops nearby. The room felt very old‑fashioned; the wallpaper choice (brown crocodile) didn’t match the hotel’s rustic vibe, the bedding was too soft, the coffee machine didn’t work, and there was a strong stale smell in the room and common areas. The bathroom was clean, but the shower column was too powerful, hurting the skin, and the massaging jets were hard to dampen. The room décor was outdated, and I’m sure that with local artisans you could do wonders.
