I only stayed because a conference was being held there, so I’m neutral—there’s not much to praise. Even though the rooms are fairly modern and refurbished, the hotel still looks “tired” both inside and out, falling short of other 4‑star properties and feeling more like an airport hotel. The staff could improve their demeanor and training; the service doesn’t feel personal.

Breakfast was very good for British standards, varied, and made with fresh products. The air‑conditioning worked more like a 0‑1 system.
