Eagle Mill

The rooms were amazing and simply stunning. The staff were fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was just top grade. This is my fourth trip to Eagle Mill and it’s my go‑to place when staying in the area.

“Exceptional”

The breakfast was exceptional and the rooms were very quiet. The road was blocked to get to the property, but that wasn’t related to the property at all.

“Lovely unique B&B with some nice quirks and some tiny issues that could be resolved easily”

A great little place and I’ll come again. The room was lovely, quiet and luxurious. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was an honesty bar. The main room had a big bath and the en suite had a shower. The site was interesting, with each room sort of its own outbuilding. The breakfast food was excellent, especially the sausages, and the portions were very large. This will all sound like a moan, but I WOULD stay again, so read it in that context! You have to pre‑order your breakfast the night before. I wanted a slight change on the menu but it all got confusing and so I didn’t quite get what I had hoped for. It was stressful the night before because my partner had fallen asleep before we ordered. There was a skylight over the bed. We didn’t think to close it before sleeping (I didn’t look to see if it had its own blind) but it woke us up at dawn. There was an event in the evening for non‑guests. That was fine (yoga ladies I think) but the car park near the rooms had not been reserved for guests only, so when we came back from dinner we couldn’t park other than the overflow carpark up the track. I just don’t understand why they couldn’t have put some little signs up or told the evening event guests that their parking was up the track, which was nearer the event space anyway!

“We spent two nights and love the accommodation host hosts, friendly and very helpful breakfast was delicious”

The location and layout of the accommodation were great; the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, with a lovely outdoor area to sit. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.
