Lorin Syariah Hotel Sentul

“Good location”

Great location, but the smell was a real letdown - it was pretty overpowering. On the plus side, being centrally located is super convenient. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the unpleasant aroma. Overall, it's a trade-off between the two.

“Early Check out”

This hotel's proximity to the Sentul Convention Center is a major plus - it's just a 10-minute drive away. However, the room was a major disappointment - it felt cramped, and the cleanliness was subpar, with visible stains on the mugs. The bed was uncomfortable and itchy, and the bathroom was outdated with a broken frame and a leaky ceiling. For the price, I expected a much better experience, which is why I ended up upgrading.

The location is spot on, and breakfast was okay - not bad, not great. However, there were a couple of issues - I found a hair stuck in the bathroom wall, which was pretty gross, and the bed was super uncomfortable. Not ideal, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Not much to say about this place, but the breakfast hygiene was pretty bad. That's my main gripe, really. Nothing else was noteworthy, for better or worse.

“Sheets were not changed from the last stay. Stains on the sheets and pillow cases also not changed”

The hotel has two swimming pools, which is a nice perk. On the downside, I couldn't figure out why there are two old, run-down hotels on the same site - it seemed a bit weird. Not sure if it's a renovation project or what, but it didn't exactly scream 'quality'.
