Scar Reef Resort truly feels like paradise, sitting right on the gorgeous Scar Reef beach. The grounds are impeccably kept and the staff are incredibly attentive and memorably kind. We booked the villa that sleeps two couples, which is air‑conditioned and very comfortable. Designed with taste, the villa looks simply stunning. The resort’s food – from breakfast to dinner – is all delicious, plentiful and carefully prepared. A wide range of services and activities are available on‑site, including surf lessons, board rentals, paddle‑boarding, yoga gear and snorkeling. It’s perfect for surfers but also great for anyone else. We had a wonderful time and we’re grateful to Jai for his warm welcome at the resort. There was absolutely nothing negative; everything was set up to let us relax and enjoy ourselves.
The location is stunning—absolute beachfront, not marred by development. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. I just loved it. Nothing else.

The property was stunning and right on the beach with three surf breaks to choose from. Breakfast and lunch were exceptional with amazing views and service. The owner, Jai, was a great host. It’s worth the extra money the place costs. The rooms are small but comfortable and beautiful. The shower could have been a little warmer.

I fell in love with this gorgeous beachfront hotel. We were the only guests during our stay, which made the experience even more wild and special. We felt truly at home amid the incredible surroundings. The beach is beautiful and it’s very easy to rent a scooter to explore the area.
