Located 8 minutes' walk from Trosterud Metro Station, the Radisson Blu Hotel Oslo Alna offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, and tea/coffee facilities. Private bathrooms feature showers, hairdryers, and some rooms include bathrobes and slippers. The hotel is a 12-minute drive from Oslo city centre and 30 minutes from Oslo Airport, with the E6 Highway 100 metres away.

Healthy and very good breakfast. In the room I had two separate beds…which did not meet my expectations, possibly because I arrived late and it was very busy, or maybe because of the king’s death. The two separate beds. The slippers were worn out, the bathrobes were worn out!

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The double bed was sagging, and one of the lifts was out of service for the entire five‑day stay. The subway is reachable after a relatively steep 10‑minute walk. The entrecôte in the hotel restaurant would have been great if it had been served hot, and the room was missing a wardrobe.

The location is good, and a car gets you there easily. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Initially I had trouble checking in, but that was eventually resolved.

I liked that it fit my budget. But when I stayed there, I realized why it was in my budget. The place overall needs a major overhaul. Plenty of things to mention, but I’m sure the hotel management would be aware of them.
