“Muito boa.”

The location was excellent; we did 90 % of the sightseeing on foot (we walked a lot, we’re 71 and 76 years old). There are plenty of restaurants and mini‑markets on the street of the hotel. Guests should know before arriving that a hostel is a simple, lean setup with only one receptionist, but she handled our requests well. The building also houses other hostels. It’s very organized and full of little touches: we received cookies, two bottles of bottled water, a small bottle of sparkling wine, plus summary maps and explanations, which I thought was great! The room and bathroom were small, but that fits the hostel concept.

The hostel is superbly located just a few meters from Plaza Mayor and Sol; everything was very clean, almost hotel‑like, with comfortable beds and friendly staff. It’s the perfect spot for a few days in Madrid to explore the city, as you’re close to all the tourist areas and nearby shops and services. There’s nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.

“Impeccably clean, comfortable, friendly staff and great price for Madrid”

We booked at the last minute after missing our train, and the price we paid matched the quality of the place. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. This will be our go‑to spot whenever we return to Madrid. No complaints.
