“Un havre de paix au sommet de la Vallée de la Nervia”
A small haven of peace overlooking the valley, we were very warmly welcomed by Elisa and Roberto, who suggested activities nearby and introduced us to local products made by their family (olive oil, honey, wine). Just a short drive to the coast for a beach day, the surrounding villages (Pigna, Dolceacqua…) and riverbanks where swimming is possible are also worth seeing. Enjoy the morning coffee facing the mountains, dinner at sunset, or stargazing from the jacuzzi. A calm, soothing, and restorative place where we will definitely return—thank you!
“Super verblijf op hoge hoogte!”
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay, being warmly welcomed and having a nicely equipped private apartment that let us relish the surroundings, the view, and the lovely jacuzzi. Little touches made the visit even better: picking fresh tomatoes from the vegetable garden, grabbing a fresh egg from the chickens each morning, and relaxing in the various seating spots around the property. In short, a superb experience! The location’s accessibility isn’t ideal; the path up is narrow, uneven, and you have to cross it twice in some spots. Fortunately, the owners help by driving the car up and giving directions. There’s also a parking deck at the start of the road so you don’t have to clear the path if you don’t want to, and you can walk up or down and immediately take your dog out.
“Heaven on Earth”
Al Pagan was a real delight for us. The setting is phenomenal, though it takes a brave soul to drive all the way up that gorgeous mountain on those winding little roads. We stayed for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hosts are wonderful, and the gardens, pets, and flowers are all lovely.
Elisa and Roberto were adorable, attentive, and super welcoming. The view was magnificent, and the facilities—jacuzzi, sauna, and a small relaxation room—were fantastic. Truly flawless.
Everything was perfect; we actually didn’t want to leave. The drive in is exciting, but after a few passes it feels almost effortless. The best trick is to back out. Elisa and Roberto are extremely friendly and very helpful with everything. If I ever travel that way again, I’ll definitely stay here.
