The room facing the snow‑capped mountains offered a stunning view, and I even caught the sunrise over the golden peak. A lively little cat roamed the premises. When I first checked in, I mistakenly walked into a room belonging to an elderly couple; surprisingly, the key for the adjacent room also opened that door, so they entered too—are all keys universal? At checkout, I was told there were no extra charges online and that I needed to pay by card, yet I had already paid online. To avoid wasting time, I swiped my card, then contacted the booking platform’s customer service, who confirmed a double charge and refunded one. I still don’t know where the error originated.

Considering the price, including breakfast, we were very pleased; the Georgian‑style breakfast was enjoyable. The room was spotless and offered an unbeatable balcony view. We were apparently the first Japanese guests there. Coffee was available at any time. We dined at the hotel once, and the portions were generous for the price. Overall, we were happy with our stay. We arrived by a minibus with luggage, and while it was within walking distance, it felt a bit far with the bags.
