Nath and Pat were perfect hosts and treated us as special guests

The atmosphere felt like home, the hostess was kind and the overall calm was remarkable – no noise, a willingness to respond to visitors as best as possible (though she still has a lot of experience to gain). It was difficult to find the place; when I arrived at night I had to navigate an outdoor staircase without a handrail and with poor lighting. Some rules or protocols were in place: I had to use the interior wooden staircase, which was steep and made it risky to bring my luggage in socks to avoid damaging the room floor. The shower was minimal in space, which was a bit inconvenient for someone who likes a quiet breakfast. I had to manage a conversation with the hostess about small details that would disappear depending on her willingness to help.
The reception was friendly and the breakfast was good. Nothing else stood out.

Breakfast was brilliant – a huge selection, lovingly and beautifully presented. The location was excellent: very quiet, surrounded by nature, yet still convenient for the town centre. Nath and Pat were a warm, welcoming couple, and Nath is clearly an excellent cook; her jams were exceptional. They both clearly enjoy having guests stay. Nothing else to mention.
