The location was excellent—right next to the Tamil station, making any destination easy to reach, quiet, and offering views of Kathmandu; the only downside was the Wi‑Fi, which was unreliable.

Just outside Thamel, it’s within walking distance of every area, a quiet spot, and there were no complaints.

We spent one night and then three more nights; the owner was a calm, attentive gentleman. The internet, as mentioned before, wasn’t stellar but didn’t bother me, and the shower sometimes lacked heat or a strong flow, which I also didn’t mind. The spot, breakfast and hospitality were so good that those minor issues were negligible for my son and me. The mattresses suited our height (1.95 m) perfectly, the room was spacious and clean, and storing extra luggage was convenient. One night we got back just before midnight and discovered the gate and front door were locked, probably someone was woken up to let us in. The location is perfect—just outside the hustle yet only a few hundred metres from the city buzz. I’d definitely recommend it to any type of traveler. 🙏🏼❤️
