The property is near the train station and the city center, with a 24‑hour front desk and friendly, helpful staff. It’s a place for animal lovers, but at night rats run across the courtyard and the cleanliness is unacceptable.

The room was clean, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the hotel is very close to the train station—great for a one‑night stay but not ideal for longer. The mosque on Friday nights was unbelievably loud; after seven weeks in Indonesia we’ve never experienced anything like it, though every hotel in town seems to have the same problem.
