Ivanna, the restaurant girl, was very friendly. The sofa bed was too uncomfortable, one staff member was very rude and another offered no customer service, the room smelled terrible, and the breakfast service in the restaurant was lacking.

It was better than many well‑known chains and only slightly more expensive. The pillows were soft, but the bed was huge and comfortable.

The staff were very welcoming, brought items to the room, offered a carton of water on arrival on a hot day, and called a taxi for me—nothing was too much trouble. I couldn’t find any faults. Though pricey, it’s true that ‘you get what you pay for’ in life.

Very, very comfortable, excellent location on the Thames south bank, and a superb breakfast.
