The farmhouse in the French countryside offers lovely views of cute cows, a wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, and an excellent on‑site restaurant. The lack of air‑conditioning made it hard for my husband, and there are two steep staircases to reach the rooms.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a view of the countryside. It’s 20 minutes from Bayonne and the parking is free. After the restaurant below closes, a great silence settles in. The bathroom is a French style with a separate toilet. The rooms lack air‑conditioning, which would be useful in July, and the Wi‑Fi doesn’t work.

The location is pleasant and the restaurant is good. It gets hot under the roofs during a heatwave.
