“Enjoyed it”
The outdoor pool and the room were good. Breakfast was the only negative.
The facilities were solid and the breakfast was tasty, but the room upgrade left awkward eaves around the bed and the shower temperature was hard to adjust; the extra space felt unnecessary, so I might have stayed in the original room instead.

The suite setup was fine, staff were friendly and helpful, and the range of facilities was good; breakfast was delicious, the free on‑site car park and strong WiFi were big pluses, and the décor was lovely and clean. Bathrobes, flip‑flops, towels, pool towels, tea/coffee, and a fridge were provided, and I appreciated that the heated pool was available for my 12‑year‑old daughter and me. However, the restaurant closed earlier than expected, probably due to staff shortages and upcoming refurbishment; the suite and facilities needed a makeover—loose or missing tiles in the pool, the pool and hot tub required a deep clean, and the shower floor was loose. Staff were sparse, making it unclear how to order room service or drinks at the pool, and the bar was empty when we visited, leaving the place feeling worn and tired.
The hotel cancelled our booking, so I can’t really comment on the hotel since we didn’t get to go.

Lovely venue. Shame it will close fully for 2 years. Shame it couldn't remain open partially. Look forward to seeing renovations in the future. The spa, outside heated pool and relaxed village setting
