The Farmhouse Hotel

The place was clean, but the food felt repetitive with no variety.

La vue et la chambre spacieuse. L’hôtel devrait proposer en priorité à leur client la réservation d une table à leur restaurant, dommage pour nous car il était plein

“We had an excellent stay with our dog! Lovely walking path below the hotel where we walked the dog as they are not sowed”

The historic building overlooking the Lagoon was fantastic, and there was nothing to complain about.

The view and location were great, and the hotel had a charming feel, but it clearly needs a makeover; the rooms look tired, lack cupboard or storage space, and the showers in the bathrooms need work; when it gets hot there are no fans, ceiling fans, or air conditioners, and the management team is hardly ever around.

“Lovely olde worlde charm. Recommend. Great location.”

The room was spacious, clean and airy. All the amenities were supplied. View of the sea was lovely. Enjoyed the daily complimentary tea and scones in the restaurant at 4pm. Ps do book in advance for the onsite restaurant as it gets booked quite quickly. Fabulous fine dining. Highly recommended. There is also a cute pub as well as a shop selling the restaurants pies, cakes and other essentials. A snooker table adds to family fun. The only thing that bothered us was the plumbing. It is a very old historical building so in our room we found that when someone else is neighbouring rooms was showering or using the toilet, the plumbing sounds carried through to our bedroom very loudly. Pipe groaning sounds at 5am were not fun. But it might be different in other rooms
