The house was beautiful, well maintained, with a modernized kitchen and bathroom; the kitchen had a large new refrigerator, and the laundry room had a new washing machine and dryer.

The immersion in a botanical rainforest and wildlife was great, the windy road added to the sense of privacy, and I loved everything.

“Magical spot for birders and nature lovers”

This is a magical spot, perfect for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers who want to explore the wet, tropical highlands and spot endemic species. Be sure to check out the David Attenborough documentary on William T. Cooper, the lodge's former owner, on YouTube - it's a great insight into the place. Just a heads up, this isn't a luxury hotel or resort, it's a simple bedroom and bathroom with shared kitchen facilities, but you're surrounded by 160 acres of nature reserve.
