The lodge sits in a beautiful spot with a wonderful view and 100% nature, and the pool uses water from the local waterfalls; the receptionist was very kind all the time, but the pool was dirty with crabs and leaves, our room’s shower was broken on the wall (more water came out of the wall than the shower itself), a sign warned that because the water comes from a boiler we should wait 4 to 5 minutes for hot water, yet we waited over 10 minutes and the water was cold, there were spider webs, the sheets were stained, some floor areas were dirty, and the mattress was torn on one side.

Breakfast was really good, but they only serve it for a single hour. The lounge area is cozy and welcoming, which makes up for the short window. The sheets, however, were cheap and felt low‑quality.

The place is quiet and far from any noise, perfect for a restful stay. The downside? Breakfast is only available from 8 to 9 a.m. – not much time to enjoy it.

The staff are excellent and the breakfast is spot‑on. The setting is all nature, a real cozy retreat if you just want to unwind. The mattress is super hard and the sheets itch, so I couldn’t sleep for two days. Wi‑Fi is awful, and the TV only works when it’s connected.
