Hotel Lapad

The breakfast was good and varied enough, and the room was cozy and tidy. On the last night, the hotel hosted a wedding with loud music outside that could be heard clearly inside the rooms until 22.50. The other guests were only informed about this through a paper note found at the front desk that same day. I had an early wake‑up the next morning because of a morning flight home, so I really didn’t appreciate the surprise of that last night.

“A lovely place I would definitely recommend it”

The hotel was very clean, and at night my room stayed completely quiet. There was a window that could be opened for fresh air. I stayed in a smaller single room on the top floor, so the ceilings were sloped in some spots, but that just added charm. The bathroom was spotless. I would highly recommend it. It isn’t near the old town, but a city bus costs about three dollars. You can take that bus straight to the old town and it runs late at night. We rode it home one evening around midnight after dinner. Totally safe. The bathtub was very high, which would be great if you want a good soak, but I’m 72, so it was a bit hard for me to get in to shower, though I managed, and it was very clean.

“Muito bom!”

The room was spacious, the bathroom was roomy, and breakfast was good. The location was bad; even though it’s in Lapa, it’s a 10‑minute walk to the bus that goes to Old Town. We didn’t notice that.

“Excellent stay and very nice location with lots to do around the area and short trip to the centre.”

The hotel was very well organised from check‑in to check‑out. Breakfast was great, something for everyone. Our room was lovely and they gave us a lovely surprise with liquor and treats and a nice note for our honeymoon. It was great.

“Beautiful and relaxing in Lapad.”

We experienced everything about the property! It was in a fabulous location and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
