The place was good, but the air‑conditioning didn’t work and no water bottle was provided.

The castle was well equipped, renovated, the staff were courteous, breakfast was good, the spa was pleasantly soothing, and the outdoor heated pool was nice.

Everything was lovely, yet the gardens behind the property were in dire need of a lot of attention; it was a shame to see them full of weeds and poor soil.
