Sweet & cosy room next to the beach

We stayed for one night while traveling through. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom featured a rain shower and bidet. The room included a microwave, fridge, air‑conditioning, and TV. Restaurants are nearby. The host was very nice and helpful. Nothing negative.

“Det værste ophold vi nogensinde har haft!!”

It was nice that the air‑conditioning worked. However, first of all we chose the place because it was advertised as having free bikes, but there were none! We had to rent them, and Veronica was not helpful. When we rented them and needed help securing them overnight, we were told we could leave them in the garden, but we never received information on where that was. Also, it was advertised that there was private parking, which there was not; it was on the street outside. The photos on the booking site, especially of the balcony, are completely misleading—no privacy at all; see our photos. The bed was too small and soft, so I had to sleep on the floor the last night because my back hurt. There was also noise from the family above in the morning and a barking dog. The apartment is right next to the train line, with trains running almost constantly. There were also no plates, cutlery, or glasses, as shown in the photos. We asked for glasses and received two plastic cups and mugs instead. The host never came to greet us or make us feel welcome. I will never return and have already complained.

I would add at least two coffee pods even though I don't pay for breakfast, and two plates and two cutlery sets so we can eat ourselves. I would also improve the cleanliness.

The price‑to‑quality ratio was decent, but the urban area is being redeveloped and looks a bit neglected, with abandoned trash scattered around.

The place has potential, yet the location, cleanliness, dated linens, and complete lack of services made it disappointing.
