I stayed there twice. The first time the hotel was packed because of a motor‑racing event, yet they gave us the best room available, which was small but cozy. The second time they upgraded us to a much larger room, added complimentary snacks, and were thrilled to welcome us back; all the staff were lovely and helpful.

“Location Excellent, Room needs Work”

The location was superb, just a stone’s throw from public transport, historic sites, and food. The bed was comfortable and the shower area felt modern, but the shower floor pooled water and didn’t drain, even though it was cleaned daily. The fire alarm went off twice during my stay; the second time it took over 15 minutes to reset because no one was at the reception, making it hard to get back to sleep. The walls show wear and the noise from the rooms above is definitely noticeable.

The hotel sits right in the heart of the city, but the rooms felt very basic for the price we paid.

“Ons tweede thuis in Amsterdam!”

Het prachtige uitzicht over de stad en de locatie je loopt zo richting de dam of de Prinsengracht. Het is opzich wel jammer dat er geen ontbijt is en een koelkastje op de kamer had ook wel prettig geweest
