The place was really comfortable and private, and they even set up a little enclosed area for our dog. Jan was friendly and made sure everything was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxed stay.

We loved how dog‑friendly the cottage was, right by the river and tucked into a nice garden, and the host was pleasant enough. The only drawback was the kitchen – there was no stovetop, which made cooking a bit awkward.

Jan was lovely and the place welcomed pets, which was a big plus for us. Unfortunately the front door kept sticking and the kitchen was tiny, with limited bench space and basic cooking gear, making a two‑night stay feel cramped.

“Pretty location awesome scenery loved walking around the property”

The property itself is pretty, with water set out for the dog and lovely views of sheep and horses. However, the owners' dogs barked every time we tried to get out the back, and by the time they were inside it was already dark; the shack could also use a good spring clean.
