The place was very tidy and a bit larger than other spots in Portree. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the room smelled wonderful. To reach the main town you need to walk, but it takes less than 10 minutes and there are snack options nearby.

“Dépaysant et très agréable!”

The homemade breakfast was delicious. Susan is incredibly kind and attentive to guests. The bedding is outstanding, giving us restful nights after busy days on Skye. The hotel is in a great spot, just a stone’s throw from Portree.

“Great location, cozy B&B”

The spot was fantastic. Free parking was available, and you could stroll to Portree Town Square in about 10 minutes. Susan was very friendly and offered useful tips and local activity suggestions. Breakfast was excellent, and she accommodated our vegan requests; the avocado toast was amazing, and I miss it now! Portree is a charming town with more shops and restaurants than other Skye towns, and most major sights are within roughly an hour’s drive. The only downside was the lack of space to unpack: the room had a pretty vanity table, but the drawers were too shallow for clothes, so we had to improvise with chairs and packing cubes. A few extra shelves or drawers would have been helpful, though we did have a place to hang a few items and Susan brought extra hangers when we asked.

Breakfast was fantastic, with a nice variety! The owners are very friendly, and we truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.
