The location was very nice, the entire outdoor area was pretty, and the girls at the outdoor bar were very friendly and helpful, as was the gentleman who drove the luggage; the rest of the staff were just staff. It is a relatively expensive 5‑star hotel, and the room equipment was old, worn, and the cleaning was very incomplete. During the whole stay, the same crack remained in the bathroom. We had half‑board, which I only used on the first day of arrival, and that was an extremely bad experience: the food on the buffet and by order was tasteless, the meat couldn’t be cut or eaten, and because I paid extra for half‑board, I wanted to cancel it and use only the à‑la‑cuisine restaurants, but the hotel didn’t allow it. They offered a higher discount at those restaurants, but the discount applied only to food. Consequently, we ate dinner repeatedly outside the hotel, in the town where the food was excellent, because I travel a lot and use many 5‑star hotels; I must say this was the worst experience I’ve had.
