The area and the pool were beautiful, though they could use a bit more upkeep; bedside lamps were missing but the host fixed that, and there were no dishes available in the accommodation.

It’s a very quiet spot with a kind French host, and the most impressive part is the story behind the place, which makes the stay even more typical and friendly. Worth exploring!

I really liked how quiet the place was and the outdoor areas that let you relax fully, with several charming corners. It’s close to everything in Alcáçovas or Viana do Alentejo, with good, affordable restaurants nearby. The houses are large and spacious, the mattress could have been more comfortable, and inside the houses there was a strong mold smell and a lot of insects.
