Hotel Aymara

I chose this place because I expected it to be right next to the Santiago bus stop, but the bus actually arrives at a station much farther away, so I had to take a taxi and my network at the bus stop wouldn’t even let me call an Uber. On the bright side, it’s truly close to the bus station that departs for San Pedro the next morning, the water is very hot, and breakfast is good. The hotel is not a cozy hostel where you can meet people for a spa experience, though.

Everything was very clean. Everything felt very basic, and it’s just a hotel for workers.

“Limpieza y amabilidad”

The staff were super attentive and friendly, and the cleanliness was evident from the moment you entered. I stayed in rooms with shared bathrooms, and when the breeze blew, it was hard to sleep well.
