Montebelo Vista Alegre Lisboa Chiado Hotel

“We loved the city of Lisbon but it was the hotel staff that made our stay so special. Thank you.”

The location was excellent and the room was spacious and clean. The highlight of our stay was the staff: reception was wonderful, friendly, and very helpful, making us feel well looked after. The bar and restaurant staff were also efficient and friendly. We stayed for 7 nights and could have used a little more storage overall and in the bathroom, especially; a few more shelves would have helped.

“Pratique et confortable”

The location is ideal, the staff are friendly and discreet, very accommodating with early arrival. The breakfast is high quality: a variety of fruits and delicious pastries. The décor features original, refined porcelain. The only drawback is the trash containers in front of the hotel entrance.

The property was gorgeous, the rooms were spotless and roomy, yet the noise from the surrounding area carried into the early morning.

The location and the staff’s friendliness and attentiveness were great, but the breakfast suffered from a shortage of staff and long wait times.

Everything from the beds, bathroom, towels, room size, breakfast, and staff was top‑quality; the location was fantastic and everything was within walking distance, and there was nothing to criticize.
