The resort’s setting was stunning, and we stayed in a bungalow among various accommodation types surrounded by gardens; the pool was a good spot for a cool swim, we spotted plenty of wildlife, breakfast was good, and the beach‑side restaurant served food brought on a buggy from the main restaurant. The only hiccup was that the water turned black for a moment before returning to normal.

We asked reception for a taxi or a ride, and they told us to download an app, which we didn’t want to do; after a standoff with some staff, they finally arranged one. This is the only hotel in Thailand so far where reception wasn’t helpful, even after about 15 trips; maybe it was just a bad day. The room wasn’t cleaned well enough.

The hotel was just across from the beach, and the pool was beautiful. Nothing else to note.

Dichtbij vertrekpunt om te gaan snorkelen. Ze bieden weinig tot geen hulp voor uitstappen. Ze weten zelf niet goed wat er in de buurt allemaal te doen is. Kamers werden niet gepoetst. Handdoeken werden niet vervangen
