This place is an absolute gem! The spot is perfect—just across from the beach steps, close to the Cleveland Way, and tucked in a quiet part of town. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower offered strong pressure and precise temperature control. The host stocked plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, milk cartons (though we used the fridge for our own milk) and some lovely biscuits. All the crockery and cutlery we could ask for was available, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We felt safe, everything was within easy walking distance, and we couldn’t ask for more. The only suggestion would be to add a dustpan and brush; after walking on the beach we were mindful of bringing sand into the room and onto the bed. It’s a tiny note, not a criticism, just a way to keep this wonderful property at its best. A thoroughly enjoyable stay 😊
“ok for a short break but not for me on a holliday sorry”
The location right next to the front was good, but the back entrance was a nightmare: a keypad on the backyard door was hard to use, the lighting was almost non‑existent, and another complicated keypad on the room door made entry a real ordeal. The room itself was tiny but very clean. I’d recommend the landlord reviews the fire procedures—there was no signage—and the gate keypad issues were problematic. Parking around the area was difficult.
