“To nie tylko Polskie Termopile.”

I liked the surroundings and some of the place names, like Zabawka, and the mix of small villages such as Srebrowo, Rutki, Ruś and larger ones like Jedwabne, Łopuchowo, or Tykocin. In Tykocin I visited a synagogue and even ate at the Mojżeszowych restaurant! I didn’t appreciate the state of the suburban bus service, especially compared to the older generation that grew up in the commune and had more frequent trips to the colonies; now the buses run much less often.

“Idealna baza wypadowa dla miłośników okolicznej przyrody”

Large rooms, clean and tidy, with full kitchen access. Everything was great :)

For the price, I was expecting a bit more, like breakfast included. It's not like it's a huge ask, especially when other places in the area offer it for less. On the plus side, the room was spotless and well-organized, and there's a convenient shop right next door.

The atmosphere here was so welcoming, it felt like we were visiting family. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the place had a lovely, relaxed vibe.
