Located in Taupo, The Village Resort offers air-conditioned rooms with outdoor balconies or patios, and some apartments feature stunning views of Lake Taupo. The property boasts an outdoor pool, hot tub, garden, children's playground, and barbecue facilities. It's close to Lake Taupo Hole in One Challenge, Great Lake Convention Centre, and Wairakei Natural Thermal Valley, with Taupo Airport 7 km away.

The room was spacious for a family of four, and having full laundry facilities in the room was brilliant; we only stayed one night so didn’t get to use all the amenities, but they looked amazing. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The only minor issue was keeping the room well heated, which was a bit harder.

Everything was set up very well for a family, and the location was great. The only downside was the short stay; the spa had a problem that day, but they informed us beforehand, which was good.

I checked in early and the accommodation was awesome, especially the pool and spa; everything was perfect and I’ll definitely return.

The large room with lake view was beautiful; at first it felt fresh, but when we arrived the heater was already on. The pool temperature was just right, there were plenty of towels, and the cleaning was thorough. It was a shame the hot tub was broken during our stay.
