The place is amazing with incredible views. The rooms are very clean and cozy, the shared kitchen is spotless and fully stocked—you can leave everything there. The common lounge has a fireplace, various games, and everything is thoughtfully arranged. We’ll definitely come back, thanks for the hospitality! The only issue was the neighbor; at 3 am I woke up to loud music and noisy conversations.

It was very quiet, very clean, and everything you need was available! The only thing was that for our planned activities it felt a bit remote because of the closure of the Blue Ridge Parkway, but that’s not anyone’s fault.

“Quaint, peaceful, clean, & beautiful!”

We loved our time here. It felt like a classic mom‑and‑pop Bed & Breakfast. The setting was serene and peaceful. I appreciated the communal vibe of the main lodge and how many items were left to the honor system. The rooms were very clean and modern. I can’t recommend this place enough! The only thing that would have been better is having at least one staff member on site to answer questions.

The view was beautiful, and you could enjoy the outdoors at night thanks to the lighting. The main lodge was great as well. I bought a couple of souvenirs via PayPal. Next time, I’ll definitely stay at the Winter Star cabin; nothing is wrong with the Piscah cabin, but I’d rather have the view of the Winter Star. There’s nothing else to complain about. The floorboards in the living room squeaked a bit, and the leather sofa made some noise.
