The host was great, responded quickly, and was flexible with a late checkout, which we really appreciated. Having a kitchen was convenient. The spot is a short walk from El Sunzal surf break, and the Pupusaria across the street is handy. However, it isn’t sound‑proof at all; you hear almost everything your neighbors do, so bring earplugs. The pool looked questionable when we arrived, so we didn’t use it, although it seemed cleaner and more appealing on our last day.

Minimalist but everything was there. Tourists were everywhere on both sides. Super friendly, and we had many great conversations in the evening. The staff were very nice and gave us everything we needed. The only downside is that the pans need to be replaced because the Teflon is peeling off and it’s not healthy to cook that way, and the stove should also be replaced. Otherwise everything was fine.

“it was perfect for budget and staff were friendly.”

The location is far enough from the main area to stay relatively quiet, which is good, and it’s close enough to the beach. The staff were very responsive and arranged an airport pickup and later a last‑minute rental car when our original reservation was cancelled, which was really helpful. Parking is difficult, so the place also had a secure parking area.
