“A bit disappointing”

The location is excellent and the room was lovely, but the food was not always good; evening meals were okay but expensive, breakfasts were often not hot, the potato scones were inedible, you had to make your own toast which is poor service for the money, and the restaurant service was very slow.

“Some aspects were fine but overall would not return”

The décor was great and the dinner was excellent, and the reception staff were very helpful. The lack of parking was an issue for us, and the route to the room was unattractive. We had to use the lift, which was also a service lift, and met the chef there with a trolley of food headed for the kitchen.
