Forest Villa Breakfast Hotel 6 min from Istanbul Airport

“A horrific and fraudulent experience; avoid this place at all costs.”

Nothing positive. This place is an absolute scam and completely falsely advertised. It is not a hotel, but merely a room in a shared house. The rooms are filthy, the host is extremely rude and unprofessional, it was a total scam, and the food provided was leftover food and completely unfit for human consumption.

It is just a 7‑8 minute drive from Istanbul Airport. The host himself cooks a delicious Turkish breakfast for you, and the interior of the hotel makes you feel like living in a cozy house.

“Logement pratique à côté de l’aéroport !”

Very good welcome. Omar’s son came to pick us up at the bus station for 50 €, he was very kind. We were treated to a very good meal, and we received plenty of help booking a taxi for the next day at 4:30 am to the airport. The room was very good and the shared bathroom was fine.

“Just a bit better than sleeping at the airport waiting areas.”

Breakfast was passable, the location is in the shabbier part of Arnavutkoy, and there’s nothing within walking distance for eating or shopping. Proximity to the airport is good, but 6 minutes is only true at 140 km/h. Ahmet is a friendly host, but calling this a boutique hotel is delusional; he is out of his depth in maintaining the required standard for a Booking‑listed accommodation. Even at this cheap price it’s not worth the money. Almost everything. My wife will take a long time to forgive me.

The location is perfect for an airport layover.
