Everything was spotless and the staff were super attentive and friendly.

“It did its job and we got to see our grandson run XC for our first visit at UPSTATE”

Breakfast was decent, but the location is perfect for students and athletes attending running events at the University. The decor, however, felt like a kids’ room and was not to my taste, though the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast area was packed with students, and the front‑desk guy was a bit frazzled and apologizing because he had no help during a rush, which didn’t reflect well on the hotel.

The staff were wonderful, but the room was run down and uncomfortable. The bedding was worn, there was no hand soap, no garbage‑bag liners, and no new iPhone‑compatible chargers.

“We love it there.”

The pool table was great, the rooms with wood floors felt cleaner, and I could not hear any hallway noise. The shower door wouldn’t close and there weren’t enough towels.
