“A magical setting and wonderful staff, let down by a stressful check-in dispute over the room.”
The location was truly magical, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and dinner in the savanna was an incredible experience — a real highlight of the trip. But when we checked in, the manager refused to honor our reservation for 2 adults and 4 children and insisted we pay for an extra room. We spent an hour arguing about it. He only agreed to give us the extra room for free once I said I’d request the invoice to send to.
