“It’s was ok, but probably wouldn’t go back to the area in Bangkok”
The staff were very respectful and pleasant, though their English wasn’t great. The bar had no seating when it rained, so it wasn’t equipped for rain.

The hotel is high‑quality and in an excellent location, sitting on the river and very close to the cable‑car station. There are boat docks for a ferry to the IconSiam mall, which is just across the river from the hotel. The hotel is clean, tidy, and very pampering. Minor issues include difficulty understanding how the lighting works in the room and no power outlets near the bed. At the entrance there’s a X‑ray scanner, so if you bring a backpack you have to go through a scan. For those seeking quiet, rooms facing the city are quieter than those with river views.
When you arrive after an intercontinental trip and walk into the lobby of this hotel, you realize it was worth it. The staff are extremely courteous, the rooms are wonderful, and I recommend the one with the river view; the evening is something stunning. The river pool is truly beautiful, and breakfast is super abundant for every taste.

The location was beautiful, the staff were the best we’ve ever encountered anywhere, and the facilities were second to none. Absolutely nothing was lacking.

The hotel sits next to Sathorn Pier, where many public‑transport and tourist boats stop, so even during rush hour we can reach places like ICONSIAM, Chinatown, and Khao San Road by boat without getting stuck in Bangkok’s big traffic jams. There are plenty of eateries and shops nearby for a quick bite or to do some shopping. Breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The hotel fully meets our expectations of the service we’re used to from Shangri‑La. It isn’t brand new, but the facilities look good and are well maintained.
