“A great Location to explore south Shropshire.”

The location is lovely for exploring the Long Mynd and nearby spots. In peak season it would be crowded with benches and walkers, but in the shoulder season it was just perfect. The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice and dog‑friendly, the food was great, and the beer selection was excellent.

“Would love to stay again!”

The space was compact, beautiful, and spotless with all the essentials, the bed was incredibly comfy and the linens were top quality, I loved the fresh milk in the small fridge, the handmade cookies, the large bath, and the premium toiletries—everything was so well done! I also appreciated that there was no TV. The pub nearby served excellent food. The only issue was that the bathroom bin had not been emptied, but that was a minor inconvenience.

I stayed in a single room that consisted of two rooms; it wasn’t large but it was perfect for what I needed. It was also very quiet and I slept well. The bathroom exceeded my expectations and the breakfast was very good. The hostel has a beautiful old pub where you can also eat. I arrived late due to circumstances and couldn’t dine there because the pub closed at 20:00, which was a total surprise for me.

“Relax & enjoy”

The room was lovely and comfortable, the shower was good, the décor was nice, and the rural setting was very quiet. Nothing else to mention.

The location on Shropshire Way is convenient, the pub is great and the food is good. Nothing else to note.
