Hotel Melby Downtown Melbourne Tapestry Collection By Hilton

“Excellent”

The location in Melbourne city downtown was excellent, and the property was very well maintained.

“Very good hotel for a short staying”

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the terrace offered great food and service, but the rooms lack soundproofing.

“Ok for one night only”

The reception and café staff were welcoming and the breakfast at the coffee shop was good, yet for the price I expected more; the location offers few bars or restaurants, though the rooftop bar was enjoyable but confusing—seems you can’t just sit at an empty seat, which was our fault. The room was basic and no frills.

“The first thing was the staff were very friendly and they went out of their way to be accommodating and make my 60th bir”

The location and staff were phenomenal, but the parking policy is odd—guests shouldn’t have to pay to park.

Everything downtown is close by, and there was nothing to complain about.
