There’s mold in the rooms and a lot of dust, plus the indoor climate feels oddly fruity.

The hotel clearly appeared old and worn, lacking modernity, and several areas were poorly maintained, including a room with obvious mold. Smoke lingered in several spots even though the rooms were non‑smoking. The staff were somewhat friendly but only spoke limited English, making communication difficult.

“Excellent choice except for the location.”

Everything was fine except the location; it’s a bit off the main downtown. Otherwise, the services and food were very acceptable. We didn’t like the location because, despite the isolated setting with a beautiful river and nature, it’s hard to reach the town’s center.

Breakfast was good, but there were mosquitoes in the room that needed pest control.

“Highly recommended for any kind of stays if the location is not an issue.”

Breakfast offered a great selection, and a vegetarian had plenty of options. The coffee machine produced good coffee, and there were several choices that kept me from feeling hungry. I didn’t find an omelette on the menu (maybe I didn’t know where to ask). Other than that, everything was great. The hotel is really grand, with old architecture that enhances the experience.
