The view from my room on the 3rd floor faces the Bali Strait, so in the morning I could watch a beautiful sunrise. That view is nice because nothing blocks it with trees or houses even though the hotel sits in a residential area. The room, however, did not match the price or the photos I saw on Google, and the 3rd‑floor access was poor, especially the iron stairs from the 2nd floor, which were not sturdy. The bathroom was dirty, there were no amenities in the room, and the towels were unclear. The TV was confusing to use for channel selection. They called the room a suite, but my kids didn’t like it. The bathroom was unclear and not very spacious. Worse, when we arrived at night, the area below the pool was playing loud disco‑style music, which was very disturbing. In the lobby, there weren’t enough chairs for the number of tables. A friend of mine had stayed at SANS Borobudur Solo and expected a similar quality, but this place was very different. If the management were better organized and the staff more educated, it could become a very good accommodation.
