“A peaceful and beautiful stay filled with warmth, nature, and wonderful hospitality.”

We stayed with two families, seven people total, in a peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by Yatsugatake’s nature and with amazing views of Mt. Fuji. Mika and Paul were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we loved learning how they renovated the traditional Japanese house themselves into such a beautiful, relaxing place. The kids enjoyed themselves and the adults relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful vibe. We would definitely visit again and next time I’d love to take a yoga class with Mika. Nothing in particular was wrong; we had a very comfortable stay.

“ほんとうの豊かさを思い出す旅”

昨年の夏に滞在した際の素晴らしい体験が忘れられず、今年も家族で再訪しました。 5歳、3歳、0歳の子どもを連れて伺いましたが、はじめは緊張気味だった子どもたちもあっという間にオーナーご夫妻のことが大好きに。お膝に乗ったり一緒に生き物探しをしたりと、たっぷり甘えさせてもらいました。 何より焚き火体験は忘れられない思い出です。乳幼児連れの焚き火…楽しめるか？！と正直不安もありましたが、スケジュール等柔軟に寄り添ってくださったおかげで無理なく楽しめ、子どもたちも「焚き火が一番楽しかった！」と言っていました◎ ぜひ連泊をおすすめしたいお宿ではありますが 一泊でもじゅうぶんに満たされます。 すてきなお二人と空間に会いに、季節を変えて何度も訪れたい場所です。. 特にありません。

I was moved by the space created by the owners and spent a wonderful time with my family. Watching the mountain ridge at dusk while we gathered around the fire, time seemed to flow slowly, and it made me want to cherish moments like that. Nothing was missing; the place is truly full of hospitality.

Mika and Paul turned our stay into a flawless experience; after renovating a traditional Japanese house for over two years, they created a beautiful sanctuary that soothed us instantly. Mika is an incredibly affectionate host, and chatting with her was a lot of fun, plus her insider tips on local cafés and restaurants were priceless! It’s perfect for families too—our 6‑year‑old son loved spending time there and didn’t want to leave. Highlights included Mika’s warm personality, the excellent yoga area, and a cozy fire pit that we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is ideal for exploring the surroundings, and we were so pleased that we spontaneously extended our stay by another night—though that was still too short. We could easily have stayed a week longer to try all the great cafés and restaurants she recommended. We’ll definitely return, and a huge heartfelt thank you to Mika for her wonderful hospitality. Nothing was lacking; everything was truly perfect!
