The place was well presented. However, it’s located on a steep hill out of town. Getting to the car park is difficult because the entrance is very steep and there’s a bend to navigate, which becomes slippery when wet.

“We had a great time at Andrew and Kathryn’s home.”

Andrew and Kathryn were very warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, nicely decorated and consistently clean. We enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast every morning, and Andrew would ask about our plans, giving us excellent advice that made our Devon visit positive and enjoyable. We didn’t like the approach to the car park—it was very steep, narrow, and nerve‑racking each time we drove in and out.

The room was beautiful, with the best bath and view. It was comfortable and clean. Kathryn and Andrew were incredibly accommodating and lovely, making you feel right at home. I’ll definitely stay here again!

“5* everything!!”

Everything was just brilliant—the room, breakfast, staff—we couldn’t have been more impressed. Kathryn and Andrew made us feel very welcome. There was nothing to dislike.

“We are glad to have chosen Horsemansd close to stay at.”

The breakfast was excellent with generous portions, offering both continental and cooked options. The location worked well for us because we needed to be near family in Bigbury on Sea, and it’s also ideal for anyone visiting Salcombe or Kingsbridge. The only downside was the steep drive into the car park.
